First Lady Merian Bias is a native of Mississippi, she completed her high school studies in Mississippi and later went on to further her education in the State of Mississippi and aboard, while traveling with the military. Aside from the First Lady’s role as a wife, mother, and grandmother she is dedicated to the things of God and to her husband. Throughout the years, she has served in several ministry capacities within the church, Women’s Ministry President, Pastor’s Aide President, Secretary for Women’s Ministry, an Usher and as a Mentor for young teenage girls (Sister-2-Sister).
She thanks God for the awesome Women of God he placed in her life as mentors, and believes every woman needs some form of spiritual support. First Lady Bias wants to provide that same mentorship to other women.
First Lady Bias loves the word of God, her favorite scripture is Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”.
Her desire for the Body of Christ is they faithfully love and serve God and be the best Christian that they can be.
Although worshipping God is one of her favorite things to do, she also loves spending time with her family, her most celebrated reward is being the wife of a talented, anointed, and loving husband, Pastor Bruce Bias Sr.
Rev Bruce Bias Sr. is married to Merian H. Bias; they have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
Rev Bias is a retired US Army Veteran with 21 years of active military service. He loves sharing the Word of God in a simplistic fashion. He was licensed to preach the gospel in 2001 and ordained in 2010 and has served in various capacities of the ministry to including Deacon, Sunday School Teacher & Superintendent, Amor Bearer and Associate Pastor.
Rev Bias’s ministry education include The Augusta School of Biblical Studies, The American Baptist College, and he is currently studying at Liberty University for Pastoral counseling.
His pastoral ministry includes Richmond Hill Baptist Church of Hephzibah, GA (4 years) and Morris Chapel Baptist Church of Barnwell, SC (6 years). Rev Bias now serves as Senior Pastor of Good Samaritan Missionary Baptist Church of Augusta, GA and founder of Glory Belongs To God Ministries.
Pastor Bias continues to serve and thank God daily for the privilege of ministering His Word and loving the people of God. His clarion call is from Ezekiel 33:7 "So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me." Through the Word of God Pastor Bias sends warning to those who are willing to hear.
